B.E.V. Education is an innovative online learning platform that leverages AI to personalize the learning journey for each individual, providing tailored guidance, engaging content, and a supportive community.

Target Audience: Individuals seeking to acquire new skills, advance their careers, or pursue personal enrichment through online learning. This includes students, professionals, and lifelong learners.
Develop a user-centric platform: Prioritizing a seamless and engaging user experience.

Increase accessibility: Making education affordable and accessible to a wider audience.
Need: To create an online education platform that delivers personalized learning experiences, fostering engagement and empowering learners to achieve their goals.
Overview
Objectives & Goals
Deliver high-quality, personalized learning: Offering AI-powered guidance, tailored content, and adaptive learning paths.
Solution: B.E.V. Education, a platform powered by an AI-driven learning companion, "B.E.V.," offering personalized learning paths, expert guidance, and a supportive community.
The online education landscape is saturated with generic platforms offering one-size-fits-all learning experiences. Learners often struggle to find personalized guidance and support, leading to low engagement and high dropout rates.
Achieve sustainable growth: Building a profitable and scalable business model.
The Problem
Foster a supportive community: Building a strong sense of community among learners.
Role: UX/UI Designer, responsible for all aspects of the user experience, from research and design to testing and iteration.

The Research
User Interviews: Conducted 10 in-depth interviews with potential users (students, professionals, educators) to understand their learning habits, pain points, and expectations.
Surveys: Distributed online surveys to a larger audience (n=100) to gather quantitative data on learning preferences, technology usage, and online learning habits.
Personas
The Lifelong Learner: This persona represents individuals who are seeking to pursue personal interests or acquire new skills for leisure. They are typically older and value flexible learning options, engaging and accessible content, and a supportive community of like-minded individuals. Their primary pain points include difficulty staying motivated, finding relevant and engaging courses, and navigating the complexities of online learning platforms.
03

The Ambitious Professional: This persona represents individuals who are highly motivated to advance their careers. They are typically working full-time and seek flexible learning options, career-focused courses, and personalized learning paths. Their primary pain points include lack of time, difficulty balancing work and learning, and finding relevant and credible courses.
01

The Self-Starter: This persona represents individuals who are driven by personal growth and skill development. They are typically younger and seek affordable and accessible education options, engaging and interactive learning experiences, and a supportive community of learners. Research Insights
User research revealed several key insights that informed the design and development of the BEV Education platform. Interviews and surveys revealed a strong desire for personalized learning experiences, with 65% of respondents citing a lack of personalization as a major challenge in online learning. Users expressed a need for tailored learning paths, personalized feedback, and guidance from expert instructors.
Additionally, 80% of respondents emphasized the importance of community and support, highlighting the need for interactive features such as discussion forums, live Q&A sessions, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. These insights were crucial in shaping the core features of BEV Education, including the AI-powered learning companion, personalized learning paths, and a vibrant online community. Furthermore, research revealed a strong preference for flexible learning options, affordable pricing, and accessible content, informing the development of a user-friendly and inclusive platform.

The Design
Branding: Developed a brand identity, including a logo (a stylized "B" with an AI element), color palette (teal, orange, and light gray), and typography (Archivo for headings, Noto Sans for body text).
UI Design: Designed the user interface with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and ease of use.
The Wireframes
Low-Fidelity
Created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the layout of key pages, such as the homepage, course pages, and user profile pages using simple sketches and basic shapes to quickly iterate on the core functionality and information architecture of the platform.
Mid-Fidelity
Mid-fidelity wireframes were created using Figma, incorporating key design elements and user flows to visualize the platform's functionality and gather user feedback before moving into high-fidelity design.
High-Fidelity
High-fidelity prototypes were also created in Figma, incorporating visual elements, interactive features, and a refined color palette to simulate the actual user experience and gather user feedback before development.
